Malinda Boren

A native of Norfolk, Virginia, Malinda Boren, GRI, has been a licensed Realtor for over 50 years. She’s been involved with real estate from Florida to the NC High Country, most recently as a Broker at Premier Sotheby’s International Realty in Banner Elk, NC. A desire to be closer to family brought Malinda to Edenton and Perry & Co. Sotheby’s International Realty. Malinda’s interest in real estate over the years led to an accumulation of rental properties, on many of which she acted as broker, remodeler, and landlord. Her passion for real estate is perhaps shared equally with her passion for flying, which began at an early age. She has owned several planes and spent 12 years flying Learjets for an air ambulance company. On occasion, she has been known to combine her passions, flying clients to view properties. Malinda is always active in community organizations, having had the pleasure of serving on the boards of directors for both Roanoke College in Virginia and Sandhills Community College in Pinehurst, and the Salem-Roanoke County Chamber of Commerce. She was a member of the Virginia Road and Transportation Builders Association, where she worked alongside her father, a bridge building contractor. She also served as the president of her church’s Episcopal Church Women association. Malinda devotes her full attention, experience, and knowledge to every client. She truly loves assisting people with buying or selling their homes, paying close attention to help match their decisions with their desires.
