Martha High

Office Administrator — Edenton, NC

Martha High, the Office Administrator of Perry & Co. Sotheby’s International Realty, is a native of Edenton. She is a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and began her professional career with Farm Bureau Insurance in Raleigh as an underwriter. She transitioned into their claims department, and stayed with the company through moves to Wilson, NC and eventually back home to Edenton.

Her husband, Hack, grew up in Washington, NC and is a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill and Campbell Law School. He was practicing in a firm in Wilson, NC when he was offered the opportunity to take over an established firm in Edenton. They jumped at the opportunity to establish roots in Edenton, and were excited for the opportunity to live and work in waterfront Eastern NC, recreating their own idyllic childhoods for their own two children.

Facing an empty nest as their children followed in the parents footsteps to UNC-Chapel Hill, Martha decided she was ready to rejoin the workforce. Having caught wind of this, PACSIR was eager to recruit Martha to join their team. Her excellent people skills, combined with her cheerful nature, competence and dedication, have proven she is vital to the success of our company. Martha handles the “behind the scenes” of our business as brilliantly as she manages the front. From the moment a client calls or steps in the door, she’s gracious and welcoming; and, she continues to be a valuable resource long after the transaction has closed. Martha is a tremendous asset to our team, our clients, and our community, and we’re absolutely delighted to have her as the first person people meet when welcoming our guests to Perry & Co. Sotheby’s International Realty and Edenton!
