Edenton-Chowan Schools
Edenton-Chowan Schools is a progressive school district with a population of approximately 2,200 students and 165 teachers including counselors and instructional support staff. The district has received both state and national recognition for its programs. Edenton-Chowan Schools is ranked among the top school systems in North Carolina for percentage of teachers with "National Board for Professional Teaching Standards" certification. Approximately 25% of our teachers hold a Masters Degree (or higher).
